CPD registration and tracking at events
For many professional conferences, the seminar programme includes options for attendees to obtain credits towards their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
This brings added complexities to the pre-event and on-site delegate management processes as well as post event certification. It all hangs on a simple but important point – the person MUST have actually attended the training.
We work with event organisers to manage CPD in most appropriate way for their event. That usually entails us collecting relevant information ahead of the day, then, once on-site, we track which sessions people actually attend.
This information is then used to generate and email out certificates that validate the training.
From time to time, we do have delegates who try to obtain certificates for sessions they did not attend. Our robust and accurate reporting module ensures that we know exactly who registered for what session, but more importantly, who attended each session.
We anticipate CPD becoming more of a feature at UK training events and so will be continuing to invest in the ways that we can support organisers and delegates.
