Located in a different city each year the European SharePoint conference programme spans 4 days with an evening awards ceremony on day 3 and sees around 1200 delegates visiting in total. Event Connections manage the on-site registration process and supply around 60 scanners to the exhibitors at the event.
We arrange for all of our technical equipment to be exported to the venue to coincide with our arrival on the set up day. This year the event was held in Barcelona. Onsite we supplied a Delegate Services manager and a Systems engineer.
SharePoint utilise six of their own conference staff as the registration team to cover the peak arrival times and reducing the numbers down when appropriate.
Event Connections worked closely with a member of the SharePoint team during the conference to manage the guest list for the evening drinks reception and awards dinner to ensure that all guests invited or their replacements had arrived in Barcelona and received a passto gain access to the evening event. The seating plan for the evening was created based on this data being accurate.
In excess of 60 lead retrieval devices are supplied to the exhibitors at the event to enable them to easily collect delegate data during the show. Reports are available to exhibitors at any point during the event and their final reports give them details of all data captured for the entire show.
