NHS Pensions were looking for a partner to take some of the pressure off their team who, whilst still being expected to maintain normal operations, had been tasked with delivering over 50 events across the UK.  We supported them by registering thousands of Pension, Payroll, Human Resource and Trade Union officers for the series of events. A task that it would have been impossible for them to achieve alone.

We delivered a bespoke delegate management solution that took into account the needs and complexities of this unique organisation. Delegates were able to find out about the events from a specially designed microsite and then book via a bespoke online registration system.

Delegate bookings and enquiries were handled by our team with calls and emails responded to in the name of the event 'NHS Pension Choice' to ensure a personal touch.

The NHS Pensions staff managed the roadshow on-the-ground with the support of our team in the office. We produced a full set of badges (with spares) and registration lists just prior to each event. These were then delivered by courier the day before each event for the NHS Pensions staff to distribute whilst ticking the names of the attendees off the attendance list.

At the end of each event the NHS Pensions staff posted the attendance list back to Event Connections so we could send follow up emails to those who attended.

From the start, we were impressed by the flexibility of the Event Connections approach and realised that much of the day to day administration for our series of events could be outsourced to just one organisation.

Event Connections work behind the scenes ensured seamless pre-event, on-site and post-event contact with delegates.
