We were delighted to continue our relationship with HedgeFund Intelligence, this time delivering registration at the prestigious EuroHedge Awards ceremony.
Working alongside HFI's own team we greeted guests on arrival, recording their arrival onto our system (after verifying their details) and providing them with table numbers. In just over an hour we registered over 900 hedge fund managers, investors and other industry professionals.

Societe Generale
Event Connections were chosen to work with European Bank Societe Generale at their annual event for investment bankers and analysts, held in central London.
We checked in almost 900 delegates within a very tight timeframe, avoiding queues and creating a highly polished registration area. Using our own team of delegate handlers, delegates were greeted in an efficient and professional manner.
Societe General were thrilled with our service and were pleased to avoid the bottlenecks that accompanied registration at previous events.

Pleased to be working with Unilever again
Event Connections were pleased to be working with Unilever again, this time supporting them at their recent dinner hosted at the Tate Modern.
Working with the team we facilitated not only delegate registration and badging, but also the production of placecards and table plans - both of which were printed just minutes before guests sat down for dinner, in order to take account of any substitutions or no-shows.
Registering over 300 high profile attendees in a short space of time, as well as handling complex changes proved to be no problem for our capable team.

IRIS World 2011 at Wembley
Event Connections were delighted to be asked to provide delegate check-in and badging at the IRIS World London event held at Wembley Stadium.
As well as checking in over 400 delegates at the start of the day, we were able to provide the IRIS team and exhibitors with handheld barcode readers, allowing them to track delegates as they attended sessions and requested information on specific products. All data was available to the organisers at the end of the conference so they could immediately carry out follow up communications.

NEST Live
The Event Connections team provided full delegate management and on-site check-in and badging for the NEST Live event, which welcomed key players from the pensions industry.
From creating a bespoke online booking system to badging over 300 delegates, we worked closely with the NEST team, each step of the way, ensuring our services would meet their specific needs.

Partnering to Win with Unilever
The Event Connections team were delighted to work with Unilever at their Partnering to Win Conference at Twickenham Stadium. We provided on-site check-in and badging for over 600 delegates, working closely with the Unilever teams from the UK and Europe. With delegates arriving by the coach load, the pressure was on to register hundreds of people in a short space of time. We're pleased to report that the whole event was very successful and Unilever were thrilled with the service we provided.

Event Connections helps launch the Silverstone Wing
Having worked with Silverstone for the last few years Event Connections were delighted to be asked to be formal delegate registration provider for the launch of the prestigious Silverstone Wing. Over a period of four weeks we managed their invitation list of VIPs through online bookings and enquiries, whilst working closely with the Silverstone team to ensure they had all the information they needed to plan the event.

On the road with Samsung
The Event Connections team were delighted to spend five weeks on the road with Samsung and Avenue Events delivering full delegate management on the Smart TV Roadshow. As well as checking-in no fewer than 1,100 delegates at 20 events in locations as far apart as Brighton and Newcastle we continued to deliver a full online booking system and handled delegate enquiries from the office for the duration of the tour.

Balfour Beatty Workplace Conference
Balfour Beatty’s recent Workplace Conference drew together around 350 delegates from all areas of the business for a day of networking and envisioning. Event Connections were delighted to provide full delegate management in advance of the event including invitations, delegate booking system, answering phone and email enquiries and liaising with the hotel booking agency to ensure everyone had a bed for the night. We really enjoyed working with Balfour Beatty and playing our part in making their event such a success.

University of Cambridge Alumni Weekend
Event Connections are delighted to once again be working with one of the world's oldest and most prestigious academic institutions on the registration for their popular Alumni Weekend. With an anticipated 1,500 delegates registering online for over 130 different lectures, tours and events the Alumni Team are happy that Event Connections are taking away some of the pressure and enabling them to focus on all the other logistics of planning the event.
Moving forward with ABRSM
Event Connections are delighted to develop our relationship with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. After delivering full delegate management on a programme of UK based events in 2010 we are now working on similar events in 2011 plus a programme of events for international delegates based in Malaysia and Hong Kong. We’re looking forward to extending this relationship into other areas in the future.
Play time in Wales
Booking is now live for the Play Wales World Conference. Built to integrate seamlessly with a specially commissioned microsite, designed by the Welsh creative agency Cheeky Monkey, the registration system handles a variety of ticketing options and allows users to sign up to various evening sessions and extra events. It's the first time that Play Wales have used online event registration and they are already excited about the time-saving potential it offers the event team.

End of the roadshow!
Throughout 2009 and 2010, NHS Pensions ran a series of roadshows. With 50 events across the UK, Event Connections were tasked with delivering a comprehensive delegate management solution which included a bespoke microsite, online registration system and the handling of all delegate bookings and enquiries. At the end of the tour we were able to look back on thousands of delegates having been successfully registered for the Roadshows - quite a journey!
On-site with World Media Online
Event Connections were delighted to be a part of the World Media OSS-Billing World Summit 2010, providing on-site badging and registration services. This high-profile event, taking place at a top London hotel, saw delegates fly in from around the world to hear leading speakers from the industry and network with partners and clients.
